The NCYLC is actively involved in a number of national and State-/Territory-based committees, including:

• NSW Law Society Children's Legal Issues Committee;
• Youth Justice Coalition; Attorney-General's NGO Human Rights Forum, and agenda committee thereto;
• NSW Law Society Young Lawyers Human Rights Committee;
• National Youth Advocates Network ;
• Children and Youth Advocacy Foundation;
• National Association of Community Legal Centres Annual Conference organising committee; and the
• NSW Combined Group of Community Legal Centres;
